Another day.... another dollar

I know its been a long time since I have written but between looking for a job, interviewing and working full time I have had no time for anything. Now that I have found a new job I have found myself constantly trying to catch up on everything I was supposed to do while I was working at the Casino.

We just bought a new laptop last week and considering it was supposed to be one of the better models, it sucked. It ran really slow in the beginning which I just thought it may be because its sat in a box for 6 months or so but then it started doing really weird things like, draining the battery all of the sudden and the web cam stopped working. So back to the store it went. We exchanged it for a Toshiba and we are waiting for it to get transferred from another store right now and I can't wait. Surfing the net without a plethora or problems will be a novelty.

My new job is going well. I have met a lot of cool people and it seems like it can get stressful at time but when its not they like to have fun which is the important part, every job you are going to have is going to be stressful at times but what its like when its not is important.

This weekend we are going up north camping and I cannot wait. This is the first time in a LONG time Darryl and I will be able to get drunk together, wahoo! Plus we are thinking about sleeping in our car so we wont have to worry about setting up a tent, double wahoo! I am looking forward to getting away and relaxing for the weekend. Hopefully we will be able to bring the laptop chalk full of song to listen to.

I went to a suprise birthday party for my grandma the other day and it was just basically all my aunts and uncles and my sisters. I was pretty good, I never really noticed how boring my extended family had gotten, it was probably because all of the cousins weren't there that I found it so boring. There is only so much sarcasm swapping you can take until you want to jab something sharp into your eyes, especially if you are going on 30 minutes sleep.

Darryls parents are visiting for the next few days tonight so I have spent my day off cleaning and cooking to prepare, Darryl promises me we will still go to the zoo but somehow I doubt that. I love them coming up so I am really excited about it but since I am going to be working midnights the entire time I am kind of stressed as to what they are going to eat while they are here since I am the cook but oh well. It should be good.

It frustrating to me when people are in my life and they don't understand what midnights are like, how you can't sleep....ever....and its really hard to do anything before or after work because you have to conserve your energy. I am kind of worried that Darryls parents may not get that and think I am lazy or something. Plus my garden is yucky looking because I haven't had time to take care of it so I am going to get shit for that too.
