Its Wii Time Baby!

Yes, we finally got a Wii a Nintendo Wii that is. We have been waiting since December to get one, calling everywhere just to find out that they don't haev any in stock but, we got lucky on Monday and got one! We also got Rayman, Super Monkey Ball and Zelda. It is a lot of fun and it is great when you have people over because its fun and multi-player. We have barely stopped playing it since we got it.

I wish I had a scanner because I am doing a lot of scrapbooking and I would love to post some of the pages to show everyone. I have been scrapbooking my trip to Portugal, the night me and the girls met the lead singers from Treble Charger and Sum 41, my 23rd birthday and one of my best friends wedding. I love it! My mom bought me some more stuff for scrapbooking last night which was nice.

I have been reading a lot lately and normally I like crime novels and mysteries, so I normally stick to James Patterson, Joy Fielding, John Sanford and Karin Slaughter. Lately I have brrn branching out a bit and trying to read some other authors since I have read almost all of those authors books. I recently started reading a Tami Hoag book and its good but there are a lot of mistakes, be it words missing or words misspelt and I think there is no reason for that you have a person that is in charge of making sure that doesn't happen. What, did your editor not graduate highschool? I just find it very disappointing to find mistakes in a New York Times Best Selling novel.

Happy Valentines Day!

I totally got uplifted today when I read Internet Lovers post, she thanked all of the men in her life and how they had been thoughtful or nice to her lately and it was just nice to read someone being optimistic and happy on a day like today. It always seems like the people who have a significant other look forward to today and are happy and the single people are bitter. I made Darryl some cupcakes last night and made him a huge dinner consisting of pancakes, eggs, pemael bacon and some toast. Plus I had little heard cookie cutters and an I love you one so I cut a couple of pancakes with them. Plus tonight I am going to be making salt beef for dinner which he loves. He probably wont be home until 4 or 5 in the morning but he will still appreciate it then.

I have been being very crafty lately and taking time to smell the roses if you will. I have been doing some scrapbooking and thinking about the good ol' days and I tried to teach myself crochetting again but tried is the key word. I thought if I looked up lessons online it would remind me how to do it again but no such luck, so I am going to have to hunt Laura down and make her teach me.

I am in love with Norah Jones lately, I cannot get enough of her music. I normally go to Youtube.com everyday and listen to Thinking About You while I get ready or surf the net. I really want to get her cd but the other song I heard from it I am not a big fan of so I am torn. I have bought a couple of really crappy cd's lately and I don't want to buy another one.

Have a great day everyone!

I have had so much time on my hands yet I have not blogged, I know I don't get it.

It has been snowing like a mother fucker here and has not stopped all week. I tried going to an appointment on Tuesday and I got stuck at the end of my driveway and had to wake up Darryl to shovel/push me out, and ever since then I have not even attempted getting out. I go out to shovel the driveway and while I am shovelling the wind is blowing the snow right back at my face and back onto my driveway. As if that isn't frustrating enough 5 minutes later when I am done shovelling it starts snowing again. I literally have not been able to leave my house in three days because there is too much snow, mostly because I haven't shovelled it but I have a two lane driveway and I only have enough energy and strength to do one side and Darryl being able to leave for work is a tad bit more important.

I went to a wedding show here in town last weekend and it totally sucked, I hated it and wanted to leave the minute I got there. There weren't a lot of people there so all of the sales people kept talking to me and asking questions and I felt like saying fuck off, I just want to look and I will ask a question when I have one.

I was watching the Shopping Network the other night and this Cake Beauty stuff came on and I was like oooh it smells good and its good for your body. Then they were talking about this one that is called desserted island that is Kate Hudsons favorite scent. I must stop here to say sales people work really well on me and I love Kate Hudson and they said it smelled like coconut, vanilla and mango or something so I was immediately sold. I started thinking, " oooh! Those three things for $32 thats not bad at all!". Meanwhile I am unemployed and not in the position to buy anything right now, so I had to turn it off quickly before I started convincing myself of what a great deal it is.
